Retallack Waters has something to offer every coarse fisherman and their family. It is particularly noted for its excellent perch fishing.
Lake Superior is the specimen coarse fishing lake. Stocked with 19 carp over 20lbs, 22 carp between 14-19lbs, 12 carp between 8-13lbs and 31 ghost carp between 9-18lbs. Other specimen fish in Lake Superior include pike, bream, perch, roach, rudd, tench and eels. Lake Superior is 6-7 acres, with 25 pegs, and offers both day and night fishing.
The Erie Canal is Retallack Water's match lake. With over 60 pegs to choose from, Erie Canal is well stocked with bream, roach, rudd, carp, tench and perch. The best 'bag' in 1996 was 52 pounds. And with the recent addition of over 3,000 pounds of bream, carp and tench, that record ought to be beaten this year! Retallack Waters also has two coarse fishing ponds, each of 1.5 acres, stocked with tench and small carp.
