What's on offer:
Cornwall's most exclusive carp fishery, Gunnabarn.

Gunnabarn is located in the middle of Cornwall. Hidden in a private woodland, the site is seven acres in size and has a specimen lake best described as three acres of carp catching paradise.

The carp lake runs on a yearly membership basis and contains approximately 80 double figure carp, 40 of which are now over 20lb and growing all the time. They also have a match lake stocked mainly with immaculate Cornish carp.

Carp Lake:
The main carp lake is approximately three acres in size and now holds over 80 double figure Carp including 40 fish over 20lb. Most of the fish are the fast growing Simmo strain and are growing at an unbelievable rate.

The potential of this lake is enormous; the first 30lb fish is only a matter of time.

Fishing is on a yearly membership basis which ensures tranquility and space for all members. This lake is unique in Cornwall and provides a quality carp fishing environment.

Match Lake:
The Gunnabarn match lake has 16 standings and a further 4 pegs. It is now highly stocked ensuring excellent bags for the match angler and pleasure angler alike.

The lake has in excess of 3000 carp stocked. In addition, there is a good stock of silver fish, some slimy tench and a number of large perch (which are very rare in Cornwall).

Situated within a private site with private car park and shared facilities. There are open matches most Sundays. Whilst its called the match lake, it can of course be fished just for pleasure.

The whole lake can be booked out for club matches. Individual day tickets are only £5.00.

Joans Lake:
The new 24 peg Carp match lake is now open for weekend matches. It has been been stocked with immaculate Carp of up to 4lbs in weight. The lake will be known as Joans lake and it provides a fantastic purpose designed match venue which will be second to none in the county.

The lake is situated on its own private site with car parking and level swims. It is 13 metres wide to the island and with a completely flat bottom. It's a fantastic match venue.

Match Club:
The Barn Match Club provides the best value year round fishing on both of the match lakes for the entire year for a one off fee of £50. You then have the option of fishing any of the matches which are organised most weekends (match peg fees not included in joining fee).

Club membership also provides you with the option of fishing in some of our special matches organised on the specimen lake as and when they are arranged.
